Breeder's comments: This ram's mother is like clockwork; twins every year. And look at the growth for a twin! His sister did just as well so Mum has a heap of milk. And she's a good doting mother too. That's heritable.
Breeder's comments: Mum and dad are both twins, young animals coming out of our breeding program, and look at the growth they are producing from a first time mother. Big solid body too. Bring on the Christmas export lambs.
Breeder's comments:This boy has quite a story to tell so here's the short version - his mother produced 20 lambs over 9 lambings with her last one producing quadruplets in May as a 9 year old ewe! She was one of our last 1/2 Finn X East Friesen 1/2 Coopworth ewes. His father is a purebred Suffolk ram, so he's 1/2 Suffolk, 1/4 Finn X East Friesen. Put him over your whiteface flock and improve your lambing percentage and mothering traits.
Breeder's comments:A twin with average daily gain 140 grams MORE than the average for a male twin. And he's got an "A" for cold tolerance and a "2" for footrot resistance. Mum averages 1.4 lambs per year and lambed again this year so there is also longevity and resilience here.
Breeder's comments:Mum averages over 1.6 lambs per year which in our conditions is a job well done. This guy is just above average growth for his sex and birth type. Two copies of the "A" gene for cold tolerance means his lambs will all get 1 from him and have a better than average chance of survival at birth.
Breeder's comments:Big, tall, meaty! Great meat-maker. Mum averages 1.8 lambs per year which is pretty awesome on our property so don't let his "single" birth think he hasn't got heaps of fertility...Mum went on to have another set of twins this year!
Breeder's comments: Good growth and "AA" for cold tolerance. Both mum and dad have a "2" for their footrot resistance so there is a 50% chance of having a "2" from one of them. Clean, black and nice edges.
